Postpartum mothers

Find your balance in (or just after) your postpartum period

Your baby is here. And your postpartum week… may have been anything but a bed of roses. Your body is recovering, your nights are broken, and you're trying to adjust to a life where someone is counting on you 24/7. You feel grateful and exhausted, sometimes on the same day, sometimes in the same hour.

Maybe you thought you'd just fall into the groove. But the reality? You feel empty, overstimulated, or even emotionally flat. Or you simply miss the space to reconnect with yourself amidst feedings, tears (yours and your baby's), and the laundry that piles up twice as fast when you're not looking.

And maybe this isn't your first child . You know the ropes, but the challenge is even greater: you're recovering while also caring for older children, the dynamics at home are changing, and you seem to have less time for yourself than ever. Even then, it's normal to want some extra support.

The phase that is rarely talked about

After giving birth, the focus is often on your baby. But you were also just born as a mother. And that requires attention, recovery, and time—mentally and emotionally as well.

Postpartum care helps you to:

  • Finding peace and clarity in the hustle and bustle.

  • Feel less pressure to get “back to normal.”

  • Understanding (and normalizing) your emotions.

  • Making space for yourself, without feeling guilty.

How I work

Using a combination of coaching, (psycho)education, and practical tools, we'll work together to identify what you need right now. Sometimes that means talking and gaining insights, sometimes it just means taking a break to catch your breath.

We'll discuss topics like sleep deprivation, role division, self-care, and navigating changing relationships. Nothing is out of the ordinary, and everything is welcome—even if you're not sure you'll enjoy motherhood.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as maternity care?
No. Maternity care focuses primarily on the physical care for you and your baby in the first few weeks. My support focuses on the mental and emotional aspects—even after maternity care has long since left.

Can I start when my baby is a bit older?
Yes. Whether your baby is 6 weeks, 6 months, or older, if you're still searching, postpartum support can help.

Is postpartum care also available for a second (or third, fourth…) child?
Absolutely. With every birth, you go through a new postpartum period and a new phase of matrescence. With multiple children, the dynamics at home change, your recovery can be different, and past experiences sometimes resurface. Support can help you find your place in this new balance—without losing yourself.
