Prepare for motherhood
Support during your pregnancy
You're pregnant. Your body is undergoing renovations, your mind is working overtime, and everyone suddenly seems like an expert. You're getting lists of what you need to buy, what you need to arrange, and most importantly, what you shouldn't forget—but who's actually helping you prepare for how you'll feel?
You might already find yourself with less energy, or feeling overwhelmed by all the expectations. Perhaps you're looking forward to your baby's arrival, but you're also feeling anxious about how your life (and you) will change.
And that is often discussed much less — while that is precisely what you will soon have to deal with on a daily basis.
The transformation no one prepares you for
Motherhood is more than just having a baby. It's a shift in identity: matrescence. Just like puberty, changes occur not only physically but also emotionally, mentally, and socially.
During my coaching I will help you to:
Consciously reflecting on your feelings, fears and dreams.
Creating realistic expectations (away with those perfect pictures).
Making room for your wishes and boundaries, even later with a little one.
To be mentally and emotionally strong, so that you can enter this phase with confidence.
How I work
I combine coaching, (psycho)education, and practical tools to help you transition to motherhood. Think breathing exercises for when you're feeling overstimulated, mapping your support system (it takes a village), and conversations where you can say anything—even things you might be embarrassed about.
You don't have to just be strong or grateful. You can just feel everything that's there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to have a problem to receive guidance?
No. This is actually preventative — so that you'll be more confident and know how to deal with the changes that are coming your way.
What if I already have a midwife or doula?
Great! My guidance complements that: I focus on your mental and emotional process, which is often overlooked in medical care.
